Documentation Preparation
Compile all essential documents: erection drawings, packing & shipping lists, and cargo identification codes. Conduct thorough inspections on all components to verify intact coating surfaces, legible steel markings, clear spray serial numbers and complete attachment of standard tags. Custom steel packing racks matching the exact length of steel members will be adopted.
Buffering & Surface Protection
Place wooden spacers between separate steel members to prevent abrasion and physical impact damage. Install corner guards on exposed edges and connections, and wrap vulnerable surfaces with polyethylene film or heat shrink wrap. Prominent labels indicating weight parameters and part numbers shall be affixed.
Loading & Transport Compliance
Lift goods with nylon slings or padded lifting belts to avoid surface scratches. Distribute cargo weight uniformly. For long-span beams, arrange supports every 4 meters to prevent bending deformation. Secure shipments with tension binders, and fit protective sleeves at contact points. Ensure the total weight and outer dimensions fully comply with highway transportation requirements.
